Students of the Information Technology Department at the Faculty of Engineering, Al-Riyada University, conducted a scientific visit to the exhibition held on the sidelines of the Second International Scientific Conference titled “The Banking Sector in Yemen and Its Role in Economic Recovery and Reconstruction,” which took place at the University of Science and Technology – Aden from February 9 to 11, 2026. The visit was supervised by Professor Dr. Ahmed Abdo Ali, Head of the Information Technology Department. Upon their arrival, they were received by Professor Dr. Moammar Al-Qutaibi, Vice President of the University of Science and Technology.

During the visit, students toured the various sections of the exhibition, including the banking sciences section related to digital transformation in banking transactions, as well as the technical and engineering section featuring participants from universities and public and private model schools in Aden Governorate. The students expressed their admiration for the content of the exhibition, particularly the creative and technical aspects.

This visit aimed to exchange experiences and benefit from the innovative ideas and projects presented by participating students, thereby enhancing the capabilities of Al-Riyada University students in this field.

It is noteworthy that this visit opened new horizons for the university to establish partnerships with several sectors participating in the exhibition, which are expected to be launched in the near future, God willing.
