Al-Riyada University and Ibn Khaldoun General Hospital Authority Discuss Joint Cooperation in Training and Qualification
As part of strengthening partnerships and enhancing practical training opportunities for Faculty of Medicine students across all specializations, and in order to provide trainees with broader exposure to various medical cases and departments—alongside Al-Riyada International Hospital affiliated with the university—Al-Riyada University continues its efforts to strengthen collaboration between academic and medical institutions.
A delegation from Al-Riyada University, headed by Prof. Dr. Nahla Saleh Al-Kakki, President of the University and Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and Mr. Yahya Fouad Al-Yamani, Acting Secretary-General of the University, visited Ibn Khaldoun General Hospital Authority in Lahj Governorate.
The delegation was received by the hospital’s General Director, Dr. Majid Atef. The visit aimed to coordinate efforts and discuss potential cooperation in the field of training and qualification for university students.
During the meeting, discussions highlighted the hospital’s role in providing medical services and training for university and institute students from Aden and Lahj governorates.
The delegation, accompanied by the hospital director, conducted a field tour across various hospital departments to explore its capabilities and services. Hospital officials welcomed the idea of opening avenues for cooperation with Al-Riyada University in practical training and exchange programs.
This visit reflects Al-Riyada University’s ongoing efforts to build strategic partnerships with healthcare institutions across different governorates, aiming to provide practical and field training opportunities for its students and enhance higher education outcomes to meet labor market needs.
