President of Al-Riyada University Visits the Cultural Attaché in Cairo
In a productive visit held this Thursday morning, Prof. Dr. Nahla Saleh Al-Kakki, President of Al-Riyada University, met with Prof. Dr. Hadi Salem Al-Sabban, Cultural Attaché at the Yemeni Embassy in the Arab Republic of Egypt.
The Cultural Attaché warmly welcomed Dr. Nahla, expressing his pleasure with the meeting and emphasizing the Attaché’s interest in strengthening cooperation between the university and the cultural mission, as well as providing support to Yemeni universities in serving higher education.
He highlighted the importance of this visit in activating future collaborations between Al-Riyada University and Egyptian universities, coordinated through the cultural attaché office. This includes facilitating exchange visits between faculty members, benefiting from the academic expertise of Egyptian universities in scientific publishing, conferences, and training programs.
During the meeting, several topics related to higher education and the university were discussed, including:
- Assisting graduates of Al-Riyada University in enrolling in Egyptian universities via the electronic platform.
- Coordinating with Egyptian universities to establish Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) in medical, engineering, and administrative sciences.
- Organizing training and qualification programs for faculty members in Egyptian universities.
It is worth noting that the visit concluded with an official letter from the Cultural Attaché addressed to Cairo University and Alexandria University, requesting a meeting with the President of Al-Riyada University to explore avenues of cooperation and benefit from their academic and scientific expertise.
For her part, Dr. Nahla expressed her satisfaction with the outcomes of the visit and extended her sincere thanks and appreciation to the Cultural Attaché for his hospitality, warm reception, and commitment to supporting Yemeni universities.
She also wished him continued success in his academic and professional duties.
