Al-Reyada University Students Visit the First Aden Exhibition for Smart Technologies and Alternative Energy

The Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology at Al-Reyada University organized a field visit today, Sunday, October 27, 2024, for third and fourth-year students. Accompanied by the Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Abdo Ali, the students visited the First Aden Exhibition for Smart Technologies and Alternative Energy 2024, held at the International Basateen Center.

Objectives of the Visit

This visit is part of the college’s extracurricular activities and aims to:

  • Familiarize students with the latest Smart Technologies utilized in the field of Information Technology.

  • Connect students with the community and potential employers to understand modern labor market requirements.

  • Establish practical and scientific links for knowledge exchange.

  • Prepare students for professional integration by interacting with relevant companies and institutions.

  • Provide exposure to new technologies and the latest scientific developments in IT applications.


Training Opportunities and Academic Excellence

A significant outcome of this visit was that several students secured opportunities for free training courses to be held in the coming days at the training centers of leading software and networking companies.

Representatives of the participating companies praised the outstanding level of Al-Reyada students, noting their impressive technical knowledge and skills, which were evident during the scientific discussions regarding the world of smart information technology.
