Continuation of Workshop Sessions at Al-Riyada University
The sessions of the workshop held at Al-Riyada University continued today, Monday, 19 May 2025. Today’s sessions were dedicated to preparing the descriptions of the academic programs of the College of Distance Education, following the completion on the first day of developing a comprehensive strategy for the College and its academic programs.
The programs were described according to the templates approved by the Academic Accreditation and Quality Assurance Council in the field of distance education, ensuring their alignment with quality standards and academic accreditation requirements.
The workshop included a detailed review of the academic plan, graduate specifications, learning outcomes, teaching and learning strategies, as well as assessment methods and mechanisms, with the aim of providing a distance education learning experience that meets students’ needs across various disciplines.
Participants also enriched the discussion sessions with their valuable observations, which contributed to preparing accurate descriptions of the College of Distance Education programs, ensuring their compatibility with quality and accreditation requirements and their ability to graduate qualified cadres capable of meeting the evolving needs of the labor market.
In the closing session of the workshop, Professor Dr. Nahla Saleh Al-Kaaki, President of the University, expressed her sincere thanks and appreciation to all participants for their efforts and the valuable outcomes of the workshop, which resulted in an integrated framework for the programs of the College of Distance Education at the University. Participants were honored with certificates of participation in recognition of their efforts
